This time of year we focus on changes. We seek change for various reasons. I urge you to seek a healthy new you to improve your overall health, immunity, digestion; not to look or be like someone else. I've been guilty of this numerous times in my life. Mad that God made my shape different than most of the people around me. But then, overtime, I began to embrace the body God gave me. I know my bone structure will never change which will always make me look wider than others. My body proportions - even with a 30 lb weight difference - did not change. I will always have more in the front than back of my body. But, through it all - there are things I can do to be a better me! Here's my list of healthy goals - 1) Eat as much real food as possible. 2) Move everyday (some days I move more than others). 3) Start every day with a positive affirmation. 4) Smile at myself in the mirror and make positive remarks about my body in front of my daughters. 5) End each day with positive reflections of my day. Embrace you! You are beautiful, you are important, you are wonderfully made!
